The ferry leaves Colman Dock downtown and takes about thirty-five minutes across Puget Sound. Winslow's main street runs a few blocks up from the dock: bookshop, bakeries, a distillery, and the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial a short walk south — Bainbridge residents were the first in the country to be forcibly removed in 1942.
The timetable runs the day. Sailings are roughly every fifty to seventy minutes, and missing one costs you an hour, so we build backwards from the return you need.
