What we actually are

Tours in Seattle is the tour side of Seattle Van And Limo Services LLC, the company that also runs Shuttle Seattle. Same vans, same drivers, same dispatch. The difference is what we sell: Shuttle Seattle moves you from one place to another, and this side handles the hours in between.

We are a small local operator, not a coach company and not a booking platform. When you call, you get someone who knows which vehicle is where.

Enquiries and day requests you send from this site go straight into Lead Friendly, the customer software we use, so your trip details are already in front of us when we reply.

Why private hire only

Every tour on this site is the whole vehicle for your party. Nobody else joins, nobody else's schedule shapes your day, and the price does not multiply by the number of people in your family.

There is also a regulatory reason, and we would rather be straight about it. Washington treats a per-seat tour as an 'excursion service' requiring its own certificate under RCW 81.70. We hold charter authority, which covers private hire; we have not filed for excursion authority yet. Until we do, selling you a single seat would be operating outside our certificate, so we do not offer it. Any operator selling you a seat should be able to tell you the same thing about theirs.

What we do not claim

We are new to running tours under this name, so there are no review counts on this site, no star ratings, no 'award-winning' and no stock photography pretending to be our vehicles. The place photographs here are freely licensed images by other photographers and every one of them is credited.

What we do have is the logistics: multiple vehicles, a dispatch board, and years of hitting hard deadlines at Sea-Tac and the cruise piers. On a turnaround day, that is the thing that actually matters.

How we build a day

We start from your hard constraint — the all-aboard time, the flight, the dinner reservation — and work backwards. Then we tell you what genuinely fits inside it, including when the answer is 'less than you were hoping'.

The builder on the home page does that arithmetic in front of you rather than behind an email. It is the same calculation we would do by hand.
