5hWhy book a vehicle instead of a seat
Four people or fourteen, the number does not move.
The price is per vehicle
Coach tours charge per head, so a family of five pays five times. We charge for the van. From about four guests up we are usually the cheaper option, and we will say so plainly rather than make you work it out.
Your luggage comes with you
On a cruise turnaround that is the whole game. No left-luggage office, no charge per bag, and no doubling back to the pier to collect anything before your flight.
We tell you when it does not fit
Ask for Mount Rainier on a six-hour turnaround and the bar at the bottom of this page turns red. We would rather lose the booking than run you back to the gangway at a sprint.

Most of these vans are booked by someone who is not riding in them.
Weddings
A guest shuttle that keeps looping until the last one is home, and a vehicle held for the couple. Booked by the hour, so the timings can move without the price moving.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, always. Four guests or fourteen, the number does not change. That is the whole reason to book us instead of a coach seat: from roughly four people up we are usually cheaper, and above six it is not close.
My ship leaves at four. Can I reach Mount Rainier?
No, and we would rather say so now. Paradise is over two hours each way before you set foot on a path. Add disembarkation and an hour back at the gangway and you need close to eleven usable hours; a turnaround day gives you six or seven. Build it on the home page and the bar turns red immediately. Snoqualmie Falls and the city fit comfortably.
Where does the luggage go on a cruise day?
In the vehicle, with you, at no charge. That is the reason to take a van rather than a coach tour — no left-luggage office, no fee per bag, no detour back to the pier to collect anything before your flight.
Do you sell single seats on a shared tour?
Not today. Every tour we sell is private hire: your party has the vehicle to itself. Selling individual seats needs a separate Washington excursion certificate, and we do not hold it yet. When we do, it will appear here with a price beside it.
What happens if it rains?
It probably will. We build the order of the day around the forecast on the morning, not the plan we made a fortnight ago — glass, museums and the Boeing factory instead of viewpoints. Ask about The Rainy Day if the whole week looks wet.
